Wildlife Wednesday: Orangutan in Borneo

Orangutan

The Bornean orangutan is an endangered species. It was easy to piece together why when I traveled through Sabah as palm oil tree plantations stood as far as the eye could see. Besides Borneo, Sumatra is the only other native place orangutans can be found. This playful great ape was living in the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary & Rehabilitation Center.
